To help in the planning of the Tuesday Winter Walks Programme we are having a meeting in The Weavers in Condorrat on Tuesday 21 September at
7.30 pm. We hope that a good turnout will result in a varied programme being drawn up for the coming Tuesday walks season. |

| There are two walks on Sunday 5th September: the high-level walk is on Ben Vane (at Loch Lomond) and and the lower-level walk is from Inveruglas to Arrochar. Travel is by hired coach - £10 per adult, accompanied children free - meet at the car park at Fleming House, Tryst Road, Cumbernauld for a 9am departure. |
| On Tuesday 7th September we have an Abronhill Circular walk via Palacerigg. Meet at the Alder Road bus stop, Abronhill at 10.00. Buses X3, X4, X5, X25, 45 all pass this way. |
| On Wednesday 8th September our walk is by the River Almond and the Union Canal and is on good paths throughout. This is a route along a canal and a river valley. Highlights include Lin's Aqueduct and the Canal Centre at Ratho. Travel is by private car - meet at the ASDA car park in Cumbernauld Town Centre, near to McDonald's, for a 9.30am departure. |

| The high-level walk on Sunday 12th September is Ben nan Imirean (with a Meall Glas option) and the lower-level walk is from Kingshouse to Glen Dochart. Travel is by hired coach - £10 per adult, accompanied children free - meet at the car park at Fleming House, Tryst Road, Cumbernauld for a 9am departure. |
On Tuesday 14th September we have two walks: one is from Cumbernauld Town Centre to Condorrat via Luggiebank and the other is an Abronhill North Circular via Glenhead and Kilt Farm.
For the Cumbernauld Town Centre to Condorrat via Luggiebank walk meet outside the Tryst Sports Centre in Cumbernauld. Buses X25, X37, X39, 45 and 47 stop at the Town Centre and buses X3, X5, FX5 and X80 stop on North Carbrain Road. Walk to the Tryst entrance from each of these stops.
For the Abronhill North Circular via Glenhead and Kilt Farm walk meet at Oak Road bus terminus (i.e. first stop after roundabout beyond the petrol station). Buses X3, X4, X5, X25, 45 and X80 stop here. |

| On Sunday 19th September our walk is from Dunure to Turnberry. Travel is by hired coach - £10 per adult, accompanied children free - meet at the car park at Fleming House, Tryst Road, Cumbernauld for a 9am departure. |
On Tuesday 21st September our two walks are (a) an Allandale Circular via Castlecary Woods, and (b) a Denny Circular to Chacefield Woods.
For the Allandale Circular via Castlecary Woods walk meet at Cumbernauld Town Centre North bus stop at 09.15 to catch bus X37 to the first stop in Allandale. The walk will start at here at 09.30
For the Denny Circular to Chacefield Woods walk meet at Cumbernauld Town Centre North bus stop at 09.50 to catch the X39 bus to Denny Cross. The walk starts outside Denny Sports Centre at 10.20 approx. Parking and toilets are available here. |
| On Wednesday 22nd September our walk is around Inzievar Wood and Dean Plantation. This walk uses roads and cycle track to link these two woodland areas. Travel is by private car - meet at the ASDA car park in Cumbernauld Town Centre, near to McDonald's, for a 9.30am departure. |
